Winter Whispers

Autumn colours seems to be waving away
I brace myself inside the warm brown coat!
Some invisible incredible blossoming branches
Robin on the window singing for the frozen brook,
Small days and longs nights, climate's finest change!

Crisp orange autumn petals drifting
Light flying leaves heap in corner of lanes
Inviting winter wind to sway away sorrow
A cold wave of warmth of festive on its way
Watching wide-eyed miracles winter spreading!

Wind-chime clatter shall spark revolutionize
Into delicate jingle bells rhyme whispers
Now at the end of November countdown begins
For Christmas there are only 25 days left
Let’s count sweet moments and celebrate life!

Vibrant healthy Thanksgiving Day shines
In the mid of all expected stir bustle
Gives me a mini breather
Silent holy nights hope angel to watch us
I’m thankful to be together with all my family, friends and people!

Celebrity Crush

Please do READ Part 1 of this post..Meeting a Celebrity

Another hypothetical situation my friend said...
Imagine if some fine day we together get a chance to meet Salman Khan in person...what will happen..??!

We for a minute tried to visualise the aura and in started describing....

“We two girls shall get a chance to meet Salman Khan in a show and we go to see him. He is on the couch sitting and waiting to meet his two big fans. We enter see him, say ‘Hi’ to him and latter to start a conversation we start describing him, which movie we loved watching in which he has worked. With a non-stop notion we continue to discussing about his movies, songs, sequence, acts, style and so on..."

A casual and an unplanned conversation which was supposed to be cool and calm with no panic attack ends up actually hyper. We girls wonder shouldn't a celebrity be happy and excited listening thyself brilliant stories live from his fans.

Yet we assumed that same time watching his fans, Salman Khan gets bored with our constant talk about movies and songs. He puts a thought to think and act normal. Hence, behaves just as a normal guy tries to divert our girly conversation and makes an effort to know about our _fan's life, our daily routine life is like?

We reply, that’s pretty boring topic to talk about us, how about that movie you have worked in...We continued bluffing! Ultimately we shut up Salman Khan from talking and ask him to listen about our girls talk. We indeed are busy talking about his movies and much detail of the scenes and dialogues that we of course have by hearted.

Salman Khan gets bored, irritated simultaneously and leaves the room at ones.
Amazingly We THE Girls are still constantly busy in discussing and chatting about the songs and expressions of the movies of Salman Khan.

The crew of the show rushes behind him and asks him to please continue the show. At last Salman Khan breaks his silence and says ‘Hum toh anth mein Bolenge’(We'll give our opinion at the last..)(a dialogue from his movie Hum Apke Hain Kaun) and walks away”

Ahh! Nothing stands strong not even daring Salman Khan can stand bravely against the constantly chatting girls.

Perhaps, a dream comes true with a twist.

Between, what it’s like meeting a celebrity.
They might behave much calm and toned down. Indeed, now we realise we are not crazy to meet Salman Khan yet we insanely wish to meet ‘Prem’ the character hero of the movie, Salman Khan plays.

So let’s expect when we meet our ‘Prem’, he won’t come like walking, he is our hero...NO! He is our super hero, and hence he shall come swinging over the chandelier with his catapult armed with a ‘genda phool’(kind of flower).

And just when I was going through internet surfing to get the best picture I could add for this post it was getting so difficult as each and every photo was excellent and heart-throbbing. And lately then my eyes were glued to see few pics. All the while surfing internet, I was wondering about the beautifully shot scenes of Salman Khan movies. Few brilliant shots of the movies, you will notice in Heart-Beat Love Connection - Series of Love poems on this blog Humming Today!

There is still a lot to share...well wait for the Next Post....you might just fall in love with Prem aka Salman Khan again..and again...just like me...Watch it on this blog in his Birthday, 27th December,2011 for the second part of this post... Yes! It's exactly after one month...
Because 'Patience is bitter but its fruit is sweet!'
So do wait for the sweetness and a sweetheart post!

Meeting a Celebrity

Watch this video and tell me watching it what do you marvel...

What if we get an opportunity to meet Salman Khan in real?
My friend asked me in a casual talk.

I gave a thought for a moment, pretending to give a reply in with a concrete plan of action.
Yet finally sharing a feeling how it would feel to meet Salman Khan in real.

“It’s a dream to meet him. I think it will remain a dream.” I said with a conviction.
To this my friend replied that “don’t lose hope, there will a day in history when we will sure get a chance to meet him, talk with him at least for a while.”

I smiled at her thoughts and again started sharing my moment of truth would look like.

“As I said it will be like a dream come true.
Salman Khan shall be sitting next room waiting to see his fan, I shall be prompted to go ahead and meet The Salman Khan. I shall take some long breaths...really long one then few really steps, with heart beating at the highest pace. A little knock on the door with a slight push to the door and only head leaning into the room to get the glimpse of an actor quickly before I could actually bring my dream in to substance of reality...

And I will see from a distance into his eyes...his deep warm eyes!
And just as his eyes gets my little glimpse across the room from the half opened door...I sure shall faint on the spot!

A great actor with a golden heart, Salman Khan shall ask the other people around to take me to the hospital and he will go back to his work for shooting a movie.

Ahh! I dream to meet Salman Khan shall remain a dream forever for me!"

Its an absolute delight for any fan to meet his or her Celebrity crush or idol and when the big day arrives what...can happen instead what should happen!

Well I know normally you will say...what can happen?

There will be a calm hand shake with a warm hug and a sweet conversation shall take place between the two, the admirer and a celebrity.
Is this all what can happen...well I think if it is so normal...than normally I must get nervous! I still get those shivers with a thought itself of meeting... ;)

And we busted into a huge laughter!

And to my surprise my sweet friend prompted something really funny again.."Seriously, wonder why Salman Khan does not know that we Two girls do exist in this world, who are such a well-wisher and marvel only about him every single moment of life."

The Picture above is the wallpaper of the popular Hindi Bollywood film 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun' released in yr.1994 featuring Salman Khan aka Prem.

Best page in my Book of Life

Reading a book
Ruffling pages of life...
Caught up in a disquiet sight
Forgetting often things significant
A simple thought that flows
Starts in the morning
Following the sunshine
with a cool breeze,
Transcend time
And a space to unwind!
Hang around for hours
Celebrating weekend
Good friends
Cuppa coffee
Cheers to good times
Good conversation
Few silly little fights
Patch up instantly with hi-fi
Moment a true triumph!
Delicious meal together
Dessert we sure agree upon mutually!
Pulling legs and crack sally jokes
It's the greatest rejoice
True feeling to share
Certainly I care
Let’s celebrate
Good time ahead
I end reading the puzzles of life here...
A morning thought concluding hopeful
In a shining starry sky
Blessing good dreams
Ruffle Shuffle more pages
Best page in my book of life
The chapter Friends are in my favorite list!
Moment to cherish
Moments creates memories!
Makes life worthwhile!
The above prose is written for Jingle Poetry at The Gooseberry Garden Poetry Picnic Week 14 covers the idea of thankfulness and its many facets in one’s life.

Quick Salad recipe – Thanksgiving Special

W Winters or summers, salads have no restriction to be cherished. I relish salad always since predominately I know they are healthiest form of eating vegetables and getting vitamins and minerals. But what fascinates me the most is it not just healthy, fresh and rejuvenating but it also can be in just few minutes. So quick to make and eat healthy.

Since, Thank-giving day is round the corner and a season of holidays, we need to spend more time with family and cook healthy for them. This is one recipe which can be transformed into so many variations creating new flavours to suit best to your taste buds, (written below in Notes*).

I’m here sharing a basic version rich in Vitamin C and nice sweet-sour crunchy flavours. This is a salad I often make and also make sure that I eat every alternate day.
Interesting part is we are adding garbanzo beans, the chickpeas and not the chicken ;)
So I’m sure all my dear veg-food lovers will love this easy recipe.

For two pax you will require...

INGREDIENTS:
  • Chickpeas/ garbanzo beans: 50 grams (Soaked overnight or for at least 6hrs latter boiled till soft.)
  • Black gram: 50 grams (Soaked overnight or for at least 6hrs latter boiled till soft.)
  • Cucumber: 1cup (peeled and diced into 1 inch cubes)
  • Onion: 1nos. (diced and washed in water)
  • Capsicum: ½ cup. (dry roast the capsicum)
  • Green chillies: 1nos (fine chopped, OPTIONAL)
  • Coriander/Cilantro leaves: 4-5 twigs (fine chopped)
  • Orange slice: 4-5 slices (peel, remove the seeds and cut them into small chunks)
  • Britannia NutriChoice Cream Cracker biscuits: 4-5nos (OPTIONAL)

SEASONING:
  • Salt : to taste
  • Sugar: ½ teaspoon
  • Lemon juice: 1 table spoon

PREPARATION:
  • Wash and soak chickpeas/ garbanzo beans overnight or for at least 6hrs in water.
  • Latter boil them or pressure cook them until soft in water with 2 teaspoon of salt. And keep it into the freeze to cool down.
  • Now peel the cucumber and dice it. Keep aside.
  • Same with onion cut them into dice shape and wash it in water so that the bitterness of onion gets less.
  • Take a capsicum/bell pepper, force a fork into it and directly roast on the heat. Keep turning it holding the fork. Roast until you find its skin bit of burning. Cool it down. Then scrap the burnt skin with same fork or knife. It is to give just a bit hint of roasting taste in the salad.
  • Chop fine the green chilli. You might like to deseed it to make the salad less hot.
  • Take few slices of oranges. Remove the skin, peel it, de-seed it and cut them roughly into small chunks.
  • Fine chop the coriander leaves.

METHOD:
  • Mix well all the ingredients in a medium bowl.
  • Squeeze the lemon.
  • Add the seasoning to taste.
  • Take the biscuits, lightly crush them and add them into the same mix of bowl. Mix all and Voila! Serve cold or room temperature.

NOTE:
  • You may use one ounce of Chickpeas/ garbanzo beans rinsed and drained from the can.
  • I have not used even a drop of oil and any kind of strong spices into it and that was the target to keep it simple, fresh and healthy
  • You may like to use carrots, boiled potato, few chopped mint leaves or few crushed pistachio nuts or walnuts.
  • You may take any and ‘n’ number of lentils, boiled or sprouted.
  • The same recipe with a tint of cream will give a rich flavour.
  • I sometimes like to add two spoon of curd.
  • You may like to add sweet tomato sauce if serving to kids.
  • Britannia NutriChoice Cream Cracker biscuits are amazing, adds crunch and texture to whole salad. It is with no added colors and flavorings for taste. It is this neutral taste that makes it an ideal choice to be consumed with hot beverages, dips, chutneys, and accompaniments. So keep creating new recipes.
Change the ingredients just a bit and you will find a total new dish with same fresh flavours and colors. Cooking is all about just cooking healthy. Innovation in cooking recipe comes naturally to suit best your taste buds.

I also take this opportunity to wish all my dear Blogger friends a Very happy Thanksgiving Day! You have always supported me and gracefully suggested me the best giving me a comfort and creativity simultaneously.

Thank you for being there for me!

I also take this opportunity to accept the beautiful  "the perfect poet award" for the poem "She's the Star". It was conducted by Thursday Poets Rally Week 56 (Nov 17-23, 2011). It's an infinite pleasure and honor to receive it! Heartily Happy and grateful. My Thanksgiving Week have already started with so much of surprises, hope and wish you all the same joy and grace!

for a change

Site dVerse ~ Poets Pub posted by Sheila Moore suggests this week’s Poetics prompt as "change."

Sailing against the wind
Cruel continuous journey,
Let’s get life on track,

Controlling the circumstances,
Confusing clueless route,
Challenging careless drift,

Clouds in mind,
Chained by rules,
Seize the colorful moments,

I will cringe at your charming voice,
Will chase away the tears
Give me a chance

It’s a confession of love
I waited long for the spring to bloom in yellow tulips,
I hope you will don’t mind to change your mind for a change!
~*~

Well when I read the above lines revising my prose to publish, the word 'yellow tulip' reminded me of this Bollywood Hindi Movie 'Silsila' released in yr.1981 directed by Yash Chopra featuring Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan.

I thought this picture shall suit the best the above lines with a perfect romantic backdrop and stretches of tulip fields!

Wish to see the video of the song..

She's a star

Prose written for the Thursday Poets’ Rally Week 56 (November 17-November 23, 2011)

She is slim, petite, positive, plus or slender.
She has a small mole above her lips, redefining the smile!
She forgets to pin up,
And she asks for more safety-pins,
She is tall helps to put up in the tallest cupboard.
She is always late rushes banging doors,
She is written all over magazines and covers!
She jumps while getting into the jean,
A child like nature vulnerable and innocent!
She plays songs on the mobile while getting ready.
She drapes herself sleekly into the 6 yard saree*.
She is wrapped in an aura of mystery!
She blinks her eyes roughly 50 times in the 60 seconds while putting the eye liner.
She looks brilliant painter while putting up the sensuous red lipstick.
She softly brushes peach blush and actively blushes.
She has a classic influential romantic side fringe cut fairly,

She is chubby and bubbly.
She sometimes nurtures her tantrums!
A right to be a late-bloomer!
Yet she never brooded when things were out of control.
She forgets to take up her belongings.
Giving away us her pleasure and deed to sway!
She walks and often flaunts, Joy in her feet!
Gracefully slides and pumps high the heartbeat in deep.
She smiles too much.
Though rough and tough the life treats.
The weakness of her lies in her heart
But she adores the one who is humble and smart!
She walks firm and straight with healed heels
She is a princess but not all the time she deserve bliss
She trusts everyone for a while with love and genuine care.
She lifts herself on her little fumble toes.
Absolutely, lifting up the spirits!

She is reigning allure!
Legendary and larger than life,
She is a shorthand for charisma!
Witty, quirky, incurably honest and wise.
Back and forth swinging whispering earring!
Beat her beauty, flawless and fortified,
She gossips and sips the proteins shakes.
She is least bothered by fake hugs.
Her quote of life is still an enigmatic secret!
She laughs uproariously sometimes;
None know she is faking
She bottle up all the emotions.
Her smile is a treasure and hearts flutter.
Self-sufficient, commanding and a priceless solitaire!
She jokes to lighten up,
She is not simply bothered,
By the mindless opinions of people,
She knows it all!

She swings in her waist,
Fellow often follow her and for her one glance fall
She acts sweet and smart on every crises call.
She scouts the moments and sails morally.
She never shouts and is always polite
She moves elegantly endless marvel,
Blessed, poised with glisten eyes
Beyond expectations of being
Awakening undercurrent essence
She has a winsomeness presence
Worth of praise and reverence!
World shall write down the history
And she will only rise against the tide!
Rewrite her glory in prose and songs lines!
She's a star! Shines and enlightens life!
A balanced woman cared little details daily!
She is better than the best
She is renewing and reinventing
Like everyone ones gets evolved,
She is timeless!
Rekha forever remains work in progress!

Rekha is the forever Diva of Indian Cinema. She is the Bollywood's greatest crown and the Ultimate Enigma in Bollywood. The most desired, most elusive and enduring woman winning hearts of all age past four decades.

  • Picture above is taken from the internet featuring Rekha wearing a heavy traditional Silk saree*.

Say Something - Hallmark of Emotions

This post reflects the Hallmark of feeling and more feelings, true emotions and few random scattered thoughts collectively brought together!

When I’m with you...we just have a blast every time.
Brilliant part is that we do understand each other pretty well, almost as much as we could enjoy our conversation on any topic or even discussing an epic on a single word. But most of the time the fun is that we don’t understand each other at little instances and we perhaps acknowledge this fact and leave it like that without working over it.

We say without paying attention to language, grammar or wondering the relevance of the idea to be shared. We just freely say as the heart speaks.

Usually people expect a reaction or an action over what been discussed. But while we talk we expect nothing in return. Not that I don’t care but I’m glad that you heard peacefully.

Even if we have a fight, we should be able to keep our focus right and while meeting again not bring the weird topic avoiding to discomfort other person. Nope! we don’t necessarily require saying or hearing a word ‘sorry’ to show how sad we feel. We behave normal and talk as a new thing and cheers on the best time we are able to take out and cherish the converse.

I realised accepting person as they are, is the most beautiful thing one can adore and indeed not trying too hard to force anybody to understand you the best.

It’s rare to find people with whom you can fly high in thoughts and stories having a conversation so freely. Someone who shall stay awake listening you late night despite the early morning meeting to attend. Someone who will call you even if you have hung up the phone or answered lately. Someone who listens your heartbeat and knows how it feels!

Beautiful little things are hard to describe in big words.
Ah! The Feelings!!! One needs to understand the emotion. So true said.
Be grateful and loving to those few people!

Haiku to my friend

This Haiku is dedicated to my dear friend as a little effort to inspire the world. And state that I’m so proud of my dear friend about...well you will read in the Haiku and story related to it mentioned below. Hope You like it!!

Complex obsession,
It’s not good to live with it..
Quit smoking shows guts!

A Haiku 5-7-5 written for Haiku Heights - Prompt #94 - Obsession

F ew days back I had a talk with my very old college time friend with whom I wasn’t in touch for many years. It was a great surprise to see my friend on the social site and now in my friend’s list.
I suddenly remembered that during my college days, my friend used to smoke a lot. I had always found that very uncomfortable to see that my friend was damaging thyself fitness with excessive smoking and indirectly affecting health of the people around too by passive smoking.

I was very much aware of the fact that more often during college days children tend to choose many new habits and weird practices.

Smoking is one of them extremely difficult to leave, under the pressure of the pears and friends and for the sake of silly show-off or untamed pleasure seeking. I'm so sorry, fagging and boozing doesn't makes you cool in any way!

Just when I got in touch with my friend again, my friend reminded the first thing that I used to always ask my friend to quit smoking then. Of course I knew, it was the most difficult thing to resist.

I asked again in curiosity to know if my dear friend still smokes. I continued saying my friend that, “You must be clear in your mind that Smoking is not without which you cannot live or spend few hours!”

Definitely life is beautiful and there are billion of things other left to continue, follow and cherish in life.

Adding bliss to my amazement, my great friend instantly replied, “I choose that smoke not something you live with..!”

Well that's the spirit! So proud of you dear friend!
Indeed quitting smoking reflects not just the will-power but also individual’s guts.

Angel from above - Romantic Poem

Romance is on and so as the passion!
This is the series of Romantic poems ~ Heart BEAT.
And my take to introduce it the catchy line of Enrique Iglesias new album song 'Heart-beat',"..I can feel your Heart BEAT!!"
Read below the harmonious heart beat...

Walking in a wrong path
Waiting for whole life
No more whirlpool of worry
Only moments of wishes rise!
Wrap your arms around me
Waft lingering in
Oh! I need you now
Next to me hugging
Making mighty memories
Creating miracles
Celebrating us
Catching glimpse
Thoughts glanced
Glimmer touch
Will-o’-the-wisp to wake up
Weaving wee dreams
Carrying them forward
Joy of lifetime to claim
Comfort continues
Smallest step
Captivate choices
Do not hear many voices
Hear only your heart-beat
Whenever and whatever
We do things together
Leaving scars behind
You are the one, I know
You are the one who makes me grow
Though the times may be rough
And days could be tough
I’m happy to be cared;
I’ve an angel from above!

I Adore You - Romantic Poetry

Romance is on and so as the passion!
This is the series of Romantic poems ~ Heart BEAT.
And my take to introduce it the catchy line of Enrique Iglesias new album song 'Heart-beat',"..I can feel your Heart BEAT!!"
Read below the harmonious heart beat...

Though never spoken
Feelings for ages overlooked
But vibes often allied with fate
 Where are you?
I was so anxious to reveal you,
Deep down adoring concealed feelings
I wasn’t sure if you would understand.
Then one day by chance
I heard that you felt the same,
For long suppressed the acknowledge
Trying to collect my thoughts
Words were not so easy to say in flow.
Approach could mislead
Unpredictable response might be a jolt
Unconvinced with thoughts
So from the beginning of the inning
Avoided to meet in eyes
Outcome destiny holds
To every merger moment
When emotions could melt
I avoided you to meet
I knew it was more than eyes meet
But we kept a platonic barrier
It was sunrise, sunsets,
Birds chirping, breeze on face,
tea of morning, coffee of evening
Nights of bright dreams, in between a pillow fight!
A little smile in a celebration of 'us'
Memories and long talks letting go of stress
It was an amalgamation of souls
To "avoid or adore" was a dare
I choose both in a desire divulged
So I avoided meeting you
But have always adored you at core!

Picture above is from a Hindi Movie 'Hum Aapke Hain Kaun' featuring Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit.

Little Love Letter - Romantic Poem

Romance is on and so as the passion!
This is the series of Romantic poems ~ Heart BEAT.
And my take to introduce it the catchy line of Enrique Iglesias new album song 'Heart-beat',"..I can feel your Heart BEAT!!"
Read below the harmonious heart beat...

There is a lot behind every little
A little concern behind ‘I don’t care’
A little pain behind ‘All is well’
Holding on and standing strong
Chord deep down connecting bonds
Speaking silent whisper
Deep breath before heart ache
Though numbing me
My heart beats hard only for you
Warmth worth and priceless
Back when things were so fine
I wish you were back mine
A lot inside not easy to confide
A bunch you will never know
A lot you can make out
If you love me more
To stay awake is still wise
Getting up on feet if it feels right
Fun, fiesta and fly high
In a while it might pass
Complex emotion of litmus love
In a whilst it might just forever last
I wanted a little more of you in all
There's so much I want to say,
Through silly words tried to convey.
A little rhyme in giggle slowly grows
But frankly despite everything in pace n place
Without you Writing is such a waste of words!!
Yet wholeness beyond the words is what is worth!

In love again last night - Romantic Poem

Romance is on and so as the passion!
This is the series of Romantic poemsHeart BEAT.
And my take to introduce it the catchy line of Enrique Iglesias new album song 'Heart-beat',"..I can feel your Heart BEAT!!"
Read below the harmonious heart beat...

Twinkle twinkle little star
Now I wonder
Not every time I look up to see the stars..
It’s a day time and wonder how beautiful is the wall!

They say not everything that glitter is gold
Yet everything that you get is what you deserve and can hold
I moved to many twist and turns in life
Nothing misleading
Yet few things not very wise
And many things just a picturesque sight

I may run, walk, stumble, drive, or fly,
But let me never lose this fleeting vision of the worthy reason
A journey of sweetest memories in a single moment!

Staring up
Searching you
Stirring thoughts
Spotting a shinny star up above the ceiling
Mapping memoirs on the blank white wall!

Memories ending up into music in ears
It’s all in the present
That deep passion
And carried away possession
Purpose of breathing paused in the present

The moment I remember
I raised my eyes
And I saw you were standing there
A moment to treasure
Absolute alluring pleasure

Moulding a memorial
Out of sweet reminiscences
Inspiring glance
The last dance
Cash on charming chance
Lets again start
In a starlit shimmering night
On the blank wall creating eternal art!

in a heartbeat - Romantic Poem

Romance is on and so as the passion!
This is the series of Romantic poemsHeart BEAT.

Read below the harmonious heart beat...

Merriment of boundless moment
Die for reasons so sweet
Closer comes the mystery
Sequence by sequence in a rewind motion
With closed eyes I see!
A dreamy sign of joy!
A sudden soak up in magic
Should I let myself drown?
Miracle just began when we met
Holding back tears
Hardship foray
Goosebumps on my arms
On the edge strolling
Leaning on the strong shoulders
A bright blaze silhouette silent
Harmonious heart beat in the moon-light
Whisper beneath the marble sky
Wrapping the world in the arms
Embrace shield emotions
Plans changed forgetting lanes
Lost together with fingers tangled
Lost in some eyes deep defining dreams
Swept with the unsaid few significant words
Waft in the lingering breeze
And warm breath in between!
Wreath for my soul!

Picture above is from a Hindi Movie 'Bodyguard' featuring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
